シンガポールの日本語を話す会

日本語を真剣に勉強するのは確かに七年前大学一年生の時でした。その後、ずっと日本語の勉強しています。卒業の後、言語クラスを入らなくて、自習の形で日本語を勉強しています。

どういうきっかけで、日本語を勉強しますか。

多分、小さいから日本の事が大好です。特に、日本の着物。今は幾つ着物を持っているけど、それは別の話です。

言語を勉強するのは、文法、単語もちろん重要ですが、やっぱりぺらぺら話せる事も大事なです。一応、言語本来の目的は自分の考え方を人に伝える、他人の感想を自分に届ける事です。

しかし、私は日本にいません。周りの人も日本語が全然話せません。だから、勉強したけど、話すチャンスがないで、とても残念です。

ある日、紀伊国屋の募集掲示板で「日本語を話す会」と言う募集を見つけました。凄くうれしいで、さっと入会申し込みを届きました。

そして、ついに「日本語を話す会」の活動日が来ました。それは先週の土曜日の事でした。

その会の用意は：

日本語学習経験のあるローカルの方々のために、日本語を話すボランティアたちが、日本語での会話の機会を提供する。少人数のグループに分かれて、自由に日本語会話を楽しむ。日本人とローカルの方々の国際文化交流。

活動はクラスルームで、メンバーと一緒に自由会話を行われます。時々も料理自習や、夏祭りの参加と言う活動がありそうです。

初めての体験が悪くないので、これからも参加しつつです。

To think about it, I started to learn Japanese 7 years ago when I was a freshman in the university. Even after I graduated from the university, I still learn Japanese by myself.

Why I want to learn Japanese?

Well, perhaps it’s due to the fact that I love Japan since I was a small child. I’m very fond of the Japanese traditional culture, especially, the Kimono. I did possess some Kimonos, but that is not the topic of the day.

In the process of learning a new language, not only the grammar and vocabulary is important, but also the skill of speaking. In fact, originally language is used to convey owns thought and understand others point of view.

The best way to learn a language is to stay in the native language place. However, I don’t have the opportunity to stay in Japan. Not to mention, people around me also can’t speak Japanese. It’s a bit ashamed that I couldn’t have the chance to speak after all these efforts throughout the years.

One day, when I was strolling around Kinokuniya Bookstore, I found the “Japanese Speaking Club” notice at their notice board. I was very excited and write in to join the club right away.

And so here comes my 1^st day in the club, which happened last Saturday.

The main target of this club is to:

Provide a speaking chance for the local to communicate with native Japanese in Japanese. Also, it is to curb a good relationship and understanding between the local and Japanese communities in Singapore.

The activities involve speaking in the classroom with other members, cooking lessons and also volunteering for ‘summer festival’.

My 1^st experience wasn’t very bad, so I had decided to continue to join the club activities.
