The Sims

皆さん、The Sims（ザーシムス）と言うコンピューターゲームをしたことがありますか。

The SimsはアメリカのEA会社の商品です。ゲームのジャンルは人生シミュレーションです。つまり、ゲームの中の擬態人間をコントロールして、彼らの日常生活や、恋愛、仕事を管理する事です。聞いたと、つまらないですけど、実は本当に面白いですよ。

私は小学校の時、従兄弟からこのゲームをお勧めされました。その時はまだゲームの第一代で、グラフィックやディサインもあまり綺麗じゃない時代でした。しかし、その時からずっとこのゲームを夢中になっています。

その後、色々なエキスペンションパックを買って、ゲームの第二代や、第三代までも買いました。大学卒業後、大学院生の時は時間があまりなかった、パソコンも問題があったので、このゲームをする事がやめました。

そして、2014のクリスマスからApple MacのストアでSims 2 Complete Collectionアップリを販売されています。その時からこのアップリゲームを買いたいが、やっと先週の日曜日に手に入れました。

その後、毎晩きっとゲームをします。懐かしいなぁ～まるで、学生時代に戻りました。

うれしいけど、やっぱりギルティすぎかしら？

Have you ever played a game named ‘The Sims’?

It’s a game developed by Electronic Arts – an American game company. The Sims is a life simulation game, which means, the player get to control the virtual human in the game and filling up his needs, love life, career and so on. Sounds boring? Not until you tried it then!

I get to know this game by watching my cousin it when I was a primary school student. He was playing the 1^st generation The Sims. Although, the graphic and design weren’t as lively and beautiful, nonetheless, from there onwards I’m totally addicted to it.

From there onwards, I purchased lots of expansive packs, Sims 2 and even Sims 3 too. After I graduated from university and started my post graduate life, I decided to stop playing. Because of the fact that I was quite busy and also my laptop no longer be able to support the game.

When I heard that they going to release Mac Edition Sims 2 Complete Collection App, I was very excited and wanted to buy it, and finally I got it last Sunday.  I play it every night after work. This really makes feel like going back to the old school time.

What a pleasant guiltiness!  XD
